Amilcar Tulcey

Four members of the well-known Celina’s establishment in Ladyville, Belize District were dragged to court today along with five friends. Their arrest is in connection with a small amount of weed and crack cocaine found by the GSU this past Sunday.  The group comprises of Elcelena Tulcey, two female teenagers, Amilcar Tulcey, Messalina Garcia, Danielle Gabourel, Tanisha Gabourel, James Lozano and deaf mute, Ceylon Foreman.  The group was charged with the possession of a controlled drug as well as for drug trafficking.  Eight of them pleaded not guilty to the charges, but Amilcar chose to take the rap for the crack cocaine.   According to the GSU, the raid took place at the house of Elcelena.  When police entered the house, she told them that her daughter was inside the bathroom, but when the minor exited, the police found the drugs inside a waste basket. Other amounts of crack cocaine were found in an iron board and a large sofa set.  Today, Senior Magistrate Sharon Fraser accepted Amilcar’s guilty plea and he was sent to jail for three months and fined ten thousand dollars.
