3-way Collision on George Price Highway

There was a three vehicle pileup on the George Price Highway between mile thirty-four and thirty-five this afternoon. A white Isuzu D-max, the property of Belize Telemedia Limited, was extensively damaged when it crashed into a cargo truck driven by Guillermo Canto. The D-max was driven at the time by Mark Anderson. According to Guillermo, he was traveling to San Ignacio when, the D-max swerved into his lane and collided into the left driver side of the truck. The D-max also collided into a black Mitsubishi Montero Sportage also traveling west. Its driver, Vanessa Canto, was transported to the Western Regional Hospital for injuries to the face and feet. Guillermo received injuries to the body.

    Belize has some of the worst drivers in the world . . . and no traffic law enforcement. Oh I forgot about the new “Road Safety Projects” and highway patrol. How’s that working out for you?

    I think Hatari need to do some ckecking, before saying that Belize have some of the worst drivers in the world.

    Some people think that you can just bark out ignorant statements and be right.
    There are many factors that can result in a collision. Please KNOW exactly what happened before jumping to conclusions.
