Cousins Charged for Burglary Are Freed

Kenrick Pitts

In a similar case, a pair of cousins, who were accused of burglarizing Quality Used Tires which is owned by businessman Rene Gordon, walked free. Thirty-five year old Kenrick Pitts, aka “Snake,” along with his cousin, thirty-five year old Roderick Pitts, both residents of Louise Bevans Street, Belize City, were freed when the prosecution could not offer any evidence against them.   The cousins were charged for the burglary that took place between August fifteenth and sixteenth, 2014 during which ninety-five tires were stolen.   Police investigations led them to Roderick who later took police to an abandoned house on Freedom Street where nine of the car tires were recovered. He was charged with handling stolen goods while Kenrick was charged with burglary. With no further evidence to offer, the men they two were free to go.
