Drug Plane Lands in Spanish Lookout

Police are tight-lipped today after an alleged drug plane landed at a remote location behind the Spanish Lookout Community sometime after midnight. Official details are practically nonexistent, perhaps because Police do not have much to offer at this time. But unofficially, News Five has learned that at around one this morning a plane was heard circling in the area, followed by the sound of vehicles. Sometime this morning Police investigated and discovered this Cessna one seven two with tail number YZ3241 abandoned and burned on a private road miles behind Spanish Lookout, near to Aguacate Lagoon. Sources tell us that Police are sure that the plane was used to bring drugs into the country, and the fact that it was burned and left there suggests that the value of the cargo was much more than the value of the plane. The closest we could get to information was a source in the Anti-Drug Unit claiming that the investigation is ongoing and more information will be forthcoming on Wednesday. Other unofficial sources tell News Five that within the past year, another plane believed to be carrying narcotics landed in the same location and was burned.  On a related note, there are still unanswered questions about the plane that landed at the municipal airstrip in Belize City on October twenty-seventh. In this case, the cargo, if any, on that plane is not known and the only details offered are that it was taken to the B.D.F. compound and that government would confiscate it.

how about the DEA coming to survey the locals? this has been going for a long time but many Belizeans think the locals are not into it. sounds like an irony but it will bring a lot of unanswered cases. Same goes in Blue Creek Orange walk south. But bet that this will eventually fade as a normal case and later a next plane will land. Villages near by claim that constant low flying planes hover over the villages late at night and early mornings. The funny part is that the law never comes to investigate when it’s happening until late. Yesterday the police mobiles we’re coming after lunch and the plane landed early in the wee hours. Let’s see if the law will bring in more about this plane case or will soon be forgotten like the others and future to come.
EVEN SMALL HELICOPTERS HAVE BEEN SPOTTED IN THE AREA LANDING IN THE FIELDS WITH UNKNOWN PEOPLE INSIDE EARLY IN THE MORNINGS, THOSE THE LAW KNOWS THIS, BET THEY HAVE NO IDEA.
