6 New Ambulances for Health Sector; 10 New Police Vehicles Received

A fleet of badly needed vehicles has been acquired for the Ministry of Health and another by the Ministry of National Security. The Ministry of Health says that it has bought six new ambulances which will be deployed to various health posts. Hospitals and clinics in Punta Gorda, San Antonio, Independence, Dangriga, Orange Walk and San Ignacio and Benque Viejo will be receiving the ambulances. Over at the Ministry of National Security, ten new police vehicles have been received. The handing over took place at the Belmopan Police Station for onward deployment to formations in Belize City, Ladyville, Belmopan, Dangriga, San Ignacio, the Intermediate Southern Formation in Independence Village and the Special Patrol Unit in Belmopan. The Ministry of Finance bought the vehicles at a cost of two hundred and eighty thousand dollars.

    Just take care of them because the Belizeans needed it and it’s a priority in all aspects. mainly the police vehicle, some of them has no park lights at all, no low beam lights. it’s very sad to see this vehicle being broken down and parked after a few months of used.
