PM Gives Credit for Queen Square Victory to Sister B

Dean Barrow

While Prime Minister can boast an unprecedented and historic third term for the United Democratic Party, he also has bragging rights in Queen Square where he has enjoyed tremendous success. When the last ballot was counted on Wednesday night, Barrow had beat out his opponent by one thousand seven hundred and forty-eight votes, the largest margin of victory for the U.D.P.  This morning he took absolutely no credit for the victory, but instead gave it to his sister who is his general on the ground in Queen Square.

Prime Minister Dean Barrow

“You know, I know and certainly the people of Queen Square know that I didn’t win the election in Queen Square. I didn’t win the last election in Queen Square. Sister B did that. It’s not anything to be proud of or to boast about, but I didn’t visit a single home. I didn’t get in touch with a single voter. I knew that they understood my personal position and circumstances and they had Sister B and knew that when they had Sister B it was just like they had me. Because there’s nothing wrong with her back. She’s four years younger and she behaves like she’s twenty years younger than I am. I owe her a tremendous debt of gratitude.”
