“That incident took place last night sometime before midnight. One Nigel Augustine was walking on Magazine Road in Belize City when he was shot at by an individual unknown to him. “Sir, what is the investigation showing so far as to the motive behind the shooting?”

Sr. Supt. Chester Williams

“At this time, we do not have a motive, but we are looking for one person who we believe will be able to assist in the investigation as it relates to that incident.”

Duane Moody

“Is Mister Augustine known to police as maybe affiliated with any gang or has had run-ins with the police for something like this to have happened to him?”

Sr. Supt. Chester Williams

“As is customary from me, whenever a person is a victim of a crime, I don’t believe in disclosing their past or affiliations because I do not think that their affiliations should be brought up just because they have become a victim of a crime. So I would not go into discussing his affiliations at this time.”
