Guinea Grass Man Chopped for Money

But back to Orange Walk where twenty-four year old Jose Antonio Zepeda Junior of Guinea Grass Village was chopped to the forehead last Friday. Zepeda Junior claims that after nine p.m., while having a few drinks at a restaurant in the village, he was assaulted by Adan Meza after he refused to loan him some money. Meza has since been charged for Aggravated Assault and Grievous Harm upon Zepeda Junior. News Five got an update from the Orange Walk Police.

“Police visited the northern regional hospital at the surgical ward around ten a.m. on the second of October 2015. There they observed a male persons from Guinea Grass Village, whose name is Jose Antonio Zepeda suffering from chop wounds to his hand and head. Initial investigations is that he was at a Chinese restaurant in Guinea Grass Village when he was attacked by a fellow he knows as Adan Meza. Meza asked him for money and he refused to give him money so Meza attacked him with a machete. At this time, the fellow has been released from hospital; his injuries have been classified as grievous harm. We have arrested and charged Adan Meza for the crime of Grievous Harm.”
