Dorrien Pitts Breaks the Silence on Murder of Wife and Daughter

Dorrien Pitts

On Wednesday, News Five spoke with Belmopan resident, Alvin Hyde, who is the father of Dorla Pitts. According to Alvin, his daughter and granddaughter have been living in Lehigh for the past fifteen years. Brian is reportedly his nephew, and the family remains stupefied as to why he would have committed the crime. Tonight, however, Dorrien Pitts, who was married to Dorla for twelve years, is breaking the silence. They provided a home to Brian for the past seven months and he cannot fathom what could have possessed him to take the lives of his cousins.

The eighteen-month-old toddler was the only survivor of the ordeal. She was later found in a bedroom unhurt. The gruesome discovery was made by a family friend just before noon on Tuesday and police were called in to investigate.

  1. Hyde says:

Wasn’t he wanted in Belize for questioning on some other offense? Hey, family or not, he made his bed you all should have let him lie in it. Now you be burying loved ones that were just trying to do him a favor by aiding and abetting him and keeping him out of Belize’s prison.
