Enraged Spouse Reportedly Butchers Customs Officer in Benque Viejo

Keisha Buller

There was a deadly stabbing incident earlier in the west, where a woman was impaled inside her home, allegedly by an enraged spouse. Police have already detained the suspected murderer in a vicious killing in Benque Viejo today. Just before three this afternoon, neighbours on George Price Street heard the frantic screams of twenty-five-year-old Customs Officer Keisha Buller as she tried to get away from an apparent attacker. They called for assistance, but by that time Buller lay dying in front of her home, stabbed multiple times, allegedly by her common-law husband following an altercation. Sources tell us he then grabbed the couple’s four year old son and fled the scene. Police were still on the site until just before news time, but Officer Commanding Benque Superintendent Daniel Arzu says that as far as they’re concerned, it is an open and shut case.

On the Phone: Supt. Daniel Arzu, O.C., Benque Viejo Police

“Police were called out to George Price Street in Benque Viejo Town. There they observed the body of a female later identified as Kiesha Buller, 25 years, Customs Officer, in a pool of what appeared to be blood with multiple stab wounds to her neck and body. She was transported to the San Ignacio Community Hospital but upon arrival succumbed to her injuries. That is basically what we have, and investigation revealed that her common-law got into an argument with her which subsequently led to him stabbing her multiple times and then that is what transpired. There was a witness in the house, who is the grandmother of the deceased. At this point in time we have located the person while fleeing to Belize City, so we have him in custody so we are proceeding with our investigation.”

“Sir, would you be able to provide us with more details on the actual apprehension of the person believed to be the killer?”

On the Phone: Supt. Daniel Arzu

“Yes this person fled the scene and travelled en route to Belize City, and while on his way near Central Farm, in that area, he was apprehended by the Benque Viejo Criminal Investigation Branch personnel and escorted back to Benque Viejo Town with the vehicle which he was driving.”

“Would you be able to tell us his demeanour, his behaviour when he was caught, any blood on him?”

On the Phone: Supt. Daniel Arzu

“Yes the Police observed certain things…what appeared to be blood inside the vehicle and on his physical person.”

Buller had been stationed at the Western Border. Sources tell us the altercation which led to her death was sparked by a jealousy.
