Caleb Orozco’s Neighbor Found Guilty of Gay Bashing and Throwing Missiles

Caleb Orozco

Caleb Orozco had his day in court against his neighbor. Thirty one year old Emmerson Picart, a clerk with the Ministry of National Security, was found guilty of throwing missiles and using indecent words towards Orozco. Picart was ordered to apologize to Orozco in court after he was slapped with two non-custodial sentences and fined one hundred dollars for each offence. He has until July thirty-first to make the first payment and second payment must be made by August nineteenth. Orozco told the court that on August fifth of last year, he was at his home on Zericote Street when Picart threw bottles at him and verbally assaulted him with sexually discriminating words. But while the incident happened on August fifth, Orozco said that it wasn’t until multiple trips to the police station that the authorities began to investigate the matter. Orozco said that he didn’t provoke Picart and that he had made numerous reports of separate incidents in which Picart had verbally attacked him. Picart claimed otherwise- telling the court that Orozco made a pass at him. Here’s what the UNIBAM leader had to say.

Caleb Orozco, President, UNIBAM

“I am used to being harassed on the streets, for over several decades. But when somebody literally lives next to you, they don’t only affect your home, sense of security but your peace of mind. I was surprised that the and welcome the professionalism of the magistrate and welcome the response of the case. I have grown up thinking that bringing cases like this has no bearing or effect because the penalty or the acknowledgement that hate exists in this country isn’t reflected in our laws. But when she charged my neighbor it gave me a sense of relief and acknowledgement that there is some possible level of justice and you can use present law for what it is to get some justice in addressing disrespectful, insulting, and threatening behavior and hold people accountable.”

1 Corinthians 7:2 – Nevertheless, [to avoid] fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

Romans 1:27 – And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
