Belize City Man Gunned Down

Allison Williams

Three persons lost their lives over the weekend in separate incidents in the west and the Old Capital.  On Friday night, shots rang out on Partridge Street Extension sometime around eight-thirty p.m. When the echoes of the blasts subsided, twenty-eight-year-old Allison Williams of Rivero Street, Belize City laid dead on the street, next to his car. So who would want “Wally” dead? And was he baited to his death? News Five’s Duane Moody has that report.

Was twenty-eight-year-old Allison Williams lured to his death? That’s the question resonating in the minds of his wife and loved ones, following his vicious murder on Friday night. Around eight p.m., police were called out to Partridge Street Extension where the body of Williams was found face up in front of a yard that he had reportedly been visiting in the past month. He had been shot multiple times to the head.

Sr. Supt. Alden Dawson, O.C., Precinct 2, Eastern Division

“Police saw him lying on the street in a pool of blood. Information so far is that he was visiting with some female friends in that area when a fair-skinned male person approached the group and fired several shots, two of which caught the now.”

After he was killed, a call was sent from Williams’ phone to his wife, Doris. A female on the other end of the line informed her that her husband was dead and on the ground. The news caught Doris by surprise because she had left Williams at home about an hour before she got the call of his demise.
