Anne Palacio

Are you looking for funds to pay for your high school tuition? Well, you may just be the student that Belize Kids First Organization is looking for. Anne Palacio President of Belize Kids First Organization says it’s doing its part and wants to make the dreams of four high school students possible:

Anne Palacio, President, Belize Kids First Organization

I am happy to say that we have collaborated once again with Belize City Council, who will be helping us to offer four high school scholarships to four beautiful candidates, from north or south side. Our organization has a lot to do with at risk students, but we have at risk students from both north and south side. So, it has to be someone from any one of those areas along with the acceptance from high school and any information that they want can be done by emailing me at or calling me at 600-4320. Our first set of recipients graduated in 2014 and I am happy to say that they are working or went on to sixth form or working and doing sixth form. Soon. Some time sin June we will have a recognition ceremony for these children and introduce a new four set to you, so we are asking them to apply to email or call me for the information. So, we are looking forward to giving away those four scholarships.”

“Okay, is there a deadline for the applications?”

Anne Palacio, President, Belize Kids First Organization

“Yes. It will be June fifth of 2015. I am saying you can either facebook me Anne Palacio or to the same email address or phone number. Usually, it has a shortlist first and then we go on to find out who those lucky people are going to be.”

”Okay, so are there any other requirements? They need to be accepted to high school and be from the city?”

Anne Palacio, President, Belize Kids First Organization

“Yes and they also need to write an essay saying why you think you deserve this scholarship. We don’t want it to be only academic, we want an all around child who is also humble and respectful and who will also be appreciative. This is a hands up, not a hands out and we want them to understand that, so during the interview we will ask all those beautiful questions.”
