Who Killed Mark Rhamdas? Will Surveillance Video Tell?

Mark Rhamdas

While there have been no leads in the murder of Foreman, twenty-seven year old Ladyville resident, Ehud Haulze remains in police custody in connection with the murder of twenty-four year old Mark Rhamdas who was killed on Wednesday. Haulze’s forty-eight hours in lockdown are about to expire, but no charges have been levied as yet. Reports are that surveillance cameras in the area captured who pulled the trigger on Rhamdas just after six p.m. on Wednesday. News Five was at a press conference held by the Head of the Crime Investigations Branch, Superintendent Hilberto Romero this afternoon.

Supt. Hilberto Romero, Head, CIB, Eastern Division

“No, no one has been charged for that murder, the investigation is ongoing for that murder.”

Duane Moody

“Sir, we understand that you guys got surveillance footage that would capture the entire incident. Is that so?”

Hilberto Romero

Supt. Hilberto Romero

“Yeah, I will not discuss the details of that footage. We are reviewing everything that we have but at this time we have not been able to charge anyone at this time.”

Duane Moody

“Is that person still in custody?”

Supt. Hilberto Romero

“Yes he is still in custody. Either he is charged or released. We will be dealing with that today.”

Jamie Chavarria

Duane Moody

“Could you tell us how he is detained?”

Supt. Hilberto Romero

“Again based on investigation we conducted and we brought him into custody.”

Duane Moody

“Is it believed that the murder of Jamie Chavarria, one week before his…that the two cases are related?”

Supt. Hilberto Romero

“I do not have that information whether they are related. Again at the conclusion of those investigations, those will be determined.”

Reporter

“Are any of the murder cases related at all?”

Supt. Hilberto Romero

“Again, they are happening one after the other and we are looking at all of them to see if they are connecting or not. We have our investigators and officers working the streets to see what is happening with these murders.”

In the case of the murders of Jamie Chavarria that occurred on March thirtieth in the City and Tuesday’s murder of eighteen year old George Maskall in Seine Bight, no one has been nabbed for the crimes.
