Traffic Accident Leaves Home Protector Employee Badly Injured

There was a traffic accident just before eleven this morning on Princess Margaret Drive near its intersection with A Street in the King’s Park Area. Twenty-five year old David Gonzalez, an employee of Home Protector Insurance Company Limited, was running errands for the company when he slammed into a Toyota Hilux registered to the Guatemalan Embassy. The impact sent Gonzalez to the pavement with severe injuries to the left leg. Police and BERT EMTs were quick to arrive on the scene where Gonzalez was taken to the hospital for treatment. News Five spoke to a witness on the scene.

“When I reached by the scene, I see wah guy on the road di lay down and actually the incident weh happen. I went up closer to get a better view and his knee really fractured really bad…low…ih mash up then.”

“Ih noh mi di bleed that much but ih mi deh ina pain. Ih neva mi di bawl or nothing but ih mi deh ina real bad pain. Ih kneecap move completely. But actually for you to get more information yo could ask the other fellow. Really bad feeling when yo see wah human being on the road; dah noh wah good feeling. Actually the driver of the vehicles mi belong behind this line and he deh above the line. And the way I see it, dah he deh ina di wrong. And the guy pan di cycle look like he mi di speed because ih mi business fi slow down on at that bump and as you can see the wheel deh under the tire fi di vehicle mash up.”
