“Yes we are in a two day workshop right now. It is a planning meeting we have decided to call it where we have invited the key stakeholders and partners and government to together have an inclusive process, a planning process of moving forward on the issue of violence against children in Belize. So this a task that is being led right now by the task force, the national task force on ending violence against children in Belize. And one of the components will then be actions there is to create a communications strategy, so that is what we are doing. We are working on C4D which is behavioral change communication because as you know communication is one way, but we want it to be two way, we want it to be inclusive, we want to make sure to get the communities involved the whole Belizean society and the decision makers and we want the violence against children to be on the agenda across the spectrum, across the levels in Belize.”

The workshop concluded today.
